'Experience the Arts' Project

Our Experience the Arts Project, part funded by Arts Council England, is now coming to the end of its third term.  Andy Leigh and Peter Hall joined us in Autumn and our children produced some amazing artwork which was displayed at the Primary Arts Network Exhibition at the Gateway in town.

During the Spring term Kerry Owen joined the team and we really enjoyed taking part in lots of exciting drama activities based on different curricular themes.

This term we are working with the renowned poet and song writer Terry Caffrey. Year 4/5 have already spent a day with Terry and enjoyed writing poems and their own Bruche Songs!

Our new poetry after school club is also up and running.  They have named themselves the CLIPs which stands for 'Communication and Listening Is Poetry'.

All our poetry will be available to view on Tuesday 14th July in the school hall as part of our Experience the Arts Exhibition.  Admission is free and everyone is welcome from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
