European day of Languages

29th September 2017
On Tuesday 26th September we celebrated European Day of Languages. This year our focus was the amount of different languages spoken across European countries. Year 5 enjoyed learning some Chinese, which is the most widely spoken language in the world. Year 4 focused on the Geography of different European countries and their monuments. In KS1 children spent some time learning about Polish and some basic Polish greetings. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their day and work is going to be displayed across the school this term.
